Our History

ABOUT TAVERN 1883

Tavern 1883 is a family friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar in beautiful Canmore, Alberta. Serving fresh "proper" food and fabulous drinks. Featuring in house ground "sous-vide" burgers, delicious salads, award winning "duck nuts" and a great selectin of tacos, to name a few of our menu items. Tavern 1883 is fully licensed, with a great beer, wine and cocktail selection. Charming, cozy and inviting, Tavern 1883 is built around an early 1900's home and the character shines through. The 80 person patio has fabulous south facing views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. The perfect place for a family meal, business lunch, happy hour, apres ski, date night, dinner with friends or drinks and to party! Live Music and DJs 3 nights a week. The Tavern is also available to be booked out for private functions and wedding receptions.
